The use of shock collars as punishments or donation incentives on The Attack has become a bit of a tradition. Its use was first suggested by channel mod Calmer during a Let's Play session of Team Fortress 2 featuring Kevin Pereira and Alex Corea during April of 2015; Kevin had reached out to the fans for ideas to help incentivize more viewers to subscribe or donate to the show. The first usage seen on the show was in 35:The Attack, when Alex wore one on his arm and was zapped every time someone subscribed on Twitch. Since then, they've been used in a variety of ways, and are always hilarious.
