The Attack episode 289 aired on 14 August 2017. It was hosted by Alex Corea and Erin Steeby.
Erin did an impression of a mom from Wisconsin or something. Alex kept trying to make spit takes a thing.
Inspired by a Pile video, the staff created a scene from Friends where Joey (Corrado) blew himself up with a grenade while saying "GABAGOOL!"
Alex and Erin showed off the Japanese ad campaign for "J Gel Super Hard" hair gel featuring Guile from Street Fighter. The staff imported a bottle so they could test it on Corrado, who has a history of playing Guile on the show. Joey's sister Tori returned to the show to do Corrado's hair.
After a Twitch-only segment, the set had a very special vistor: Teeny Steeby, and little version of Erin about one twentieth her size! Everyone thought she was the most adorable thing ever except for Erin, who got territorial and became enraged. She tried to squash Teeny Steeby under her boot, but Teeny Steeby was far too strong and threw Erin into the ocean!
The show was sponsored by Brook Linen (promo code: Attack) and Erin did the ad as a spooooky ghost.
Alex and Erin tried some "memesicles," creamsicles that were filled with internet memes instead of cream. Grumpy cat (cat hair), the Snapchat hot dog, and Kermit drinking tea (frog legs) were featured.
